His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew departed on Thursday, 23 April 2026, for France, where, at the invitation of the organisers, he will speak today at the 18th edition of the International Conference “World Policy Conference,” to be held in the city of Chantilly.
His All-Holiness is accompanied by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon and Grand Ecclesiarch Aetios, Director of the Private Patriarchal Office.
During the Patriarch’s absence, His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos of Selyvria has been appointed as Patriarchal Commissioner, and he saw His All-Holiness off at the City’s airport.
His All-Holiness is expected to return, God willing, early in the afternoon on Saturday.
