In other news, the Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selino, His Eminence Amphilochios, paid a pilgrimage this week to the Holy and Great Monastery of which is located in the semi-autonomous monastic community of Mt. Athos.
His Eminence, Amphilochios, venerated the miraculous Holy Icons of the Monastery and also officiated at a divine liturgy at the main Cathedral. The Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selino, which is located in Chania prefecture on the island of Crete, also expressed his best wishes for the speedy recovery of the Abbott of Vatopedi Monastery, Elder Efraim.
On the occasion of his pilgrimage to Mt. Athos, Amphilochios again expressed his gratitude to the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi for its continued support of the Metropolis’ charitable and social works.
