The Second Stanza of the Salutations to the Most Holy Theotokos was chanted on Friday, 6 March, at the Church of the Presentation of the Theotokos in Pera, with His Eminence Metropolitan Andrew of Forty Churches, Supervisor of the Great Community of Stavrodromion, presiding.
The hymns of the service were chanted by the students of the Kavala Music Gymnasium, and many faithful were in attendance. Among them were the Consuls of Greece in Constantinople, Theophilos Georgakis and Athanasia Iliaki, the Coordinator of Education Dimitra Vourdoglou, the Deputy Regional Governor of Kavala Alexandros Iosifidis, the President of the Cappadocian Centre Kaplanis Iosifidis, teachers from the Kavala Music Gymnasium, and others.
A reception then followed in the Community Hall.
