The Serbian Orthodox Church this week delivered its position on the issue of autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in a letter addressed to the world’s recognized Orthodox Churches.
The Serbian Orthodox Church’s Patriarchate notes that it does not recognize the autocephaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, while listing the reasons for its decision.
In the same region, the annual State Department report cites the fact that Serbians in the Kosovo province continue to be attacked, along with the Serbian Orthodox Church. The report was presented by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo this week.
