The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is honored to announce the official visit of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to the U.S. in September 2025. The visit will include public events in Washington, DC, New York City, and Long Island, NY, offering opportunities to receive his blessing and participate in worship services.
This Apostolic Visit marks another historic chapter in the sacred relationship between the Mother Church of Constantinople and the faithful in the United States. His All-Holiness, known worldwide for his spiritual leadership, interfaith dialogue, and commitment to the environment, will engage with clergy, youth, and laity.

Wednesday, September 17: Welcome Doxology – St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, Falls Church, VA; reception to follow
Thursday, September 18: Patriarchal Doxology – St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine, New York City
Friday, September 19: Patriarchal Audience/Blessing with the Young Adult Leaders – St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shine, NYC
Saturday, September 20: Environmental Tribute to the “Green Patriarch” – Stony Brook University Marine Station Southampton Campus, NY; Great Vespers – Dormition of the Virgin Mary Church, Southampton, NY
Sunday, September 21: Patriarchal Divine Liturgy – Dormition of the Virgin Mary Church, Southampton, NY; reception to follow
Monday, September 22: Patriarchal Reception for Archons – Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, NYC
Tuesday, September 23: Patriarchal Audience for Clergy and Presvyteres – Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, NYC
