US ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom, Sam Brownback, underlined late last week that hostility toward Christians around the world has reached an all-time high.
Brownback said “…There is more persecution of Christians now … than at any time in the history of the world, and the Christian faith is the most persecuted faith in the world, by far.”
He spoke at a keynote address during the sixth annual Solidarity Dinner hosted by the organization In Defense of Christians (IDC), which was held in Washington, DC.
Brownback added that the situation for Christians in the Middle East has reached a critical point.
