The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, this week commemorates the second anniversary of His Enthronement as the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
His Holiness was elected by the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Church on Feb. 18, 2021, after the repose in the Lord of Patriarch Irinej. He was enthroned the next day at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, in Belgrade.
