In a shocking development out of west Africa, recently announced figures by UNICEF show that up to 8,000 minors, mostly Christians, have been kidnapped by the Islamist terror group Boko Haram. According to the same reports, 117 minors, the vast majority being girls, have been used by the terrorists as suicide bombers.
Boko Haram first surfaced in northern, predominately Muslim, Nigeria, before expanding into Chad, Niger and Cameroon.
