Another spate of vandalism and looting of Serbian Orthodox churches and cemeteries were reported this month in the Kosovo and Metohija province, where a Kosovar Albanian majority controls the area.

Specifically, the church of the Holy Trinity in the town of Parteš, in the Gjilan District, was the latest target, with unknown perpetrators taking money from the collections box and stealing religious objects. The church of St. Peter in the town of Klokot, in the same district, was also targeted by vandals, while tomb raiders desecrated graves in the Orthodox cemetery in Binač. The latter town hosts 22 ethnic Serbian families that have refused to leave their ancestral home, leading to attacks against them by nationalist Kosovars.
