The Orthodox Church today, which coincides with Wednesday of Easter, venerates the Holy Prophet Jeremiah, one of the four great Old Testament prophets, as well as the venerable Nikiforos of Chios and St. Isidora.
Additionally, today is also the Feast Day of St. Panaretos of Paphos, who was the Church of Cyprus’ bishop in that coastal city during the 18th century.
