Βyzantine Art at the Center of Athens

A brand new, Byzantine art exhibition opens in the heart of Athens, at the Benizelos Mansion, the House of Saint Philothei.
Konstantinos Xenopoulos, Arhon Iconographer of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and all Africa, presents an Orthodox art exhibition from 25 to 27 of November 2022 in Athens.
There are two symbolic worlds presented in this exhibition: the Saint Philothei the Athenian and Byzantine art, a worldwide recognized orthodox heritage.
During the exhibition, a master class of hagiography will take place. The participants will be taught hagiography under the personal guidance of the Archon Iconographer.
Furthermore, on Saturday November 26 2022 at 7 p.m., an event will be held at the Benizelos Mansion. The artist, Konstantinos Xenopoulos and monk Paisios from Nea Skiti Holy Mount Athos will give a speech about Byzantine art.
