Warning by association of Greek archaeologists regarding Hagia Sophia

Greece’s association of archaeologists, in a letter directed to the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, warned that the future of the iconic Hagia Sophia Cathedral in Constantinople is gloomy, following the reconversion of the greatest of all basilicas of eastern Christendom into a mosque in July 2020.
