Yekaterinburg deputy mayor cites risk of growing Islamization in Russia

The Deputy Mayor of the city of Yekaterinburg, Alexander Kolesnikov, this week issued a warning over what he called a growing risk of Islamization of the country, speaking after the suspension of construction works for a new Cathedral in the Urals city.

Kolesnikov said mosques are gradually being constructed in Russia in order to replace Orthodox Churches, using Switzerland as an example to be avoided.
