The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Irinej, on Sunday issued a message of unity and peace, amid the difficult period faced by the Orthodox Christian faithful in Kosovo and Metohija. Irinej emphasized that the Church teaches us to stay united and live together as brothers.

  The memory of St. Kyriaki was venerated on Sunday, July 7, at the St. Nedelya Orthodox Cathedral in Sofia, Bulgaria. Nedelya is Bulgarian for Kyriaki, or Sunday, in Greek. The Patriarch of Bulgaria, His Holiness Neophyte, presided at the Divine Liturgy, assisted by several hierarchs of the Bulgarian Church.
