The splendid ecclesiastical calendar of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi for 2023 is now available. The 2023 Vatopedi calendar showcases the ecclesiastical frescoes found at the venerable Mount Athos monastery.

Nine choirs from three Metropolises in the wider region, along with Christian Orthodox societies, gathered in the Thessaloniki’s main Aristotelous square this week to sing traditional Christmas carols. Among the choirs performing were two from the Holy Metropolis of Neapolis and Stavropoulis, a children’s choir and an all-female choir.
