The third edition of the Iasi Byzantine Music Festival to be held between 2-6 October 2019
Iasi Byzantine Music Festival is an international event held yearly in Iasi and organized under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Iasi. This year the third edition will be held between the 2nd of October and the 6th of October.
This year, the Romanian city will be the host of important names of Byzantine music and sacred music in general. Among the guests are: Patriarchy Choir of Holy Trinity Tbilisi Cathedral, Romeiko Ensemble, „Tronos” Psaltic Group of the Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral, „Theotokos” Orthodox Choir from Lebanon and many others. The Festival will include religious services, concerts and workshops.
