Beijing now censuring references to Christianity in well-known literary classics

Chinese officials continued to exercise censorship on well-known literary classics that include references to Christianity. The latest instances include the removal of the word “God”, “Bible” and “Christ” from the well-known novel ” Robinson Crusoe”, and the short story “The Little Match Girl”.
