First Liturgy in the Temple of Saints Michael and Gabriel Archangels at the under construction works
FIRST LITURGY IN THE TEMPLE OF SAINTS MICHAEL AND GABRIEL ARCHANGELS AT THE UNDER CONSTRUCTION WORKS
On Sunday the 12th January 2025, His Eminence Archbishop IOANNIS Metropolitan of Zambia and Mozambique presided over the first ever Liturgy in the Diocese Residence ground, concelebrated by the Reverend Fathers Spyridon, Arsenios and Prodromos.
The Divine Liturgy was followed by the blessing service of waters closing the feast of Theophany and the throwing down of the Cross into the swimming pool.
On the occasion of the traditional vasilopita-cut, His Eminence IOANNIS wished to the General Consulates of Greece Mr Michalis Kroupnik and of Cyprys Mr Spyros, the president of the Hellenic Community of Lusaka Mr George Liacopoulos and to all the faithful in Zambia and allover the World to live with love to one another and to have good health, safety, progress and much happiness throughout the year!
The feast went off through a somptuous buffet to well.
