The new Consul General of Germany in Constantinople visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate
On Monday, 3 February 2025, the newly appointed Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Constantinople, Dr. Regine Grienberger, visited the headquarters of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Dr. Grienberger was warmly received by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and they engaged in a lengthy and cordial discussion.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Sammy Düsdieker, a senior official at the Consulate General, and Patriarchal Deacon Oikoumenios, Undersecretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, along with Professor Mr. Konstantinos Delikostantis, Director of the First Patriarchal Office, both of whom have received further education in Germany.
