The Primate of the Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia visits the Ecumenical Patriarchate
On Thursday, 13 February 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, welcomed His Beatitude Archbishop Rostislav of Prešov and Metropolitan of All Czechia and Slovakia, with brotherly love to the Phanar, who was accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan George of Michalovce and Kassovia, His Grace Bishop Isaiah of Olomouc and Brno, Father Raphael Moravský, and his associate Iveta Apostu.
In their private meeting, they had the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Also present were, His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, President of the Synodal Committee on Inter-Orthodox Issues, The Grand Ecclesiarch Archimandrite Aetios, Director of the Personal Patriarchal Office, and Patriarchal Deacon Oikoumenios, Undersecretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod.
In the evening, His Beatitude and his honourable entourage attended a formal dinner hosted by the Mother Church in their honour.
