Patriarch John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for the Greek Orthodox, sent a message of congratulation to Archbishop John of Albania after his election as Archbishop. The message states: “We joyfully received the news of your election as Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania. We congratulate you and ask God Almighty to grant Your Beatitude His heavenly blessings to serve the church that He redeemed.”
