Events in Moscow focus on life, miracles of St. Luke the Physician

A cultural and education program entitled “Days of St. Luke” began this week at Moscow’s “Clinic 67”, with an accompanying exhibition displaying icons depicting the miracles of St. Luke the Physician, as well as personal items, lectures and other cultural events.

St. Luke the Physician, the Archbishop of Simferopol, was born in 1877 in Crimea. He was a distinguished medical professor, researcher and healer who suffered decades of persecution and imprisonment in the former Soviet Union due to his unwavering Christian faith.
