Corfu Fortress,1924 – As Elder Arsenios had told the refugees, 40 days after they settled in the Corfu castle, he left this life. His passing shocked the community, as Elder Arsenios was their spiritual father, the one who guided them with wisdom, faith and love and the one who helped, more than anybody else, to keep the Greek and Christian soul strong in the villages of Pharasa. In the community, tensions, grumbling and fights begin.
