Civil Administrator of Mount Athos visits Archbishop of Athens
His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens received a courtesy visit from the members of the Board of Directors of the Halki Theologians’ Residence. On behalf of all members, the president extended heartfelt wishes to the Archbishop on the occasion of his recent name day celebration. They also expressed their gratitude for his continuous support and for granting access to the Church of Saint Nicholas Ptochokomeiou for the liturgical needs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens.
The Archbishop, visibly moved, thanked them warmly for their thoughtful visit.
Following this meeting, the Archbishop was visited by Mr. Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Civil Administrator of Mount Athos, and later by His Eminence Metropolitan Damaskinos of Velestino.
