The Nativity of Most Holy Theotokos at the “St. Alexander Nevsky” Cathedral

Today, when the Bulgarian Orthodox Church celebrates the Nativity of the Mother of God in “St. Alexander Nevsky” Cathedral, was served Holy Liturgy by His Grace Bishop Gerasim of Melnik.

Together with Bishop Gerasim were a priest Kostadin Gavrilov, priest Anthony Milushev and Deacon Alexander Neshev. Priest Anthony Milushev delivered a sermon on the meaning of the great feast. He also spoke about the ecclesiastical glorification of the Most Holy Theotokos in today’s great feast. Many Orthodox Christians took Holy Communion, and Bishop Gerasim greeted everyone on the great feast.
