Summer Camp of the Youth Group “Syndesmos”
From Friday to Sunday, July 25–27, this year’s summer camp session of “Syndesmos” was held at the parish facilities of St. Boris in the city of Chuncheon. More than forty young men and women from the cities of Seoul, Incheon, Jeonju, and Ulsan experienced unforgettable spiritual moments. They participated in the morning and evening services, the Sacrament of Holy Confession, the Divine Liturgy, Bible study gatherings, and talks that led to engaging discussions. In addition, the abundant recreation, mealtimes, and various other activities created a very warm and family-like atmosphere. The spiritual nourishment was centered around the Metropolis’ theme for 2025: “Let us love Christ, because Christ is everything.” Specifically, it focused on two questions: “How can we love Christ more?” and “How can we love our neighbor more?” At the closing ceremony of the camp, everyone expressed their satisfaction and renewed their appointment for the winter camp, glorifying God, the Giver of every good thing.
