Patriarch John X Receives MP Gebran Bassil and Delegation from the Free Patriotic Movement
His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received Member of Parliament Gebran Bassil at the patriarchal residence in Balamand, accompanied by a delegation from the Free Patriotic Movement.
The meeting addressed the general situation and latest developments in Lebanon and the region. It also highlighted the importance of Christian unity and the affirmation of coexistence values within a framework of respect for the diverse components of the Levant, particularly in light of the region’s ongoing challenges.
