The Moscow Patriarchate this week issued an urgent warning towards the faithful and clergy, citing the circulation of fake letters in Russia calling on parishes to transfer donations and reserves to specific bank accounts.
The Moscow Patriarchate warned that this is an attempt to defraud parishes, Metropolises and monasteries – calling on those who receive such letters to notify authorities.
