Patriarchal Letter of Condolence on the Repose of the Late Princess Irene
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a warm Patriarchal Letter of Condolence to His Royal Highness Prince Pavlos, expressing the heartfelt condolences of the Mother Church of Constantinople and of himself personally on the repose of the late Princess Irene.
At the Funeral Service, which was held at the Holy Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Athens at midday on Monday, 19 January, His All-Holiness was represented by His Eminence Metropolitan Vissarion of Spain and Portugal.
