The Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese of Australia is set to convene
The Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese of Australia will convene for its regular session during the period of the Pentecostarion, from 14 to 16 April 2026, under the presidency of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
During the proceedings of the Synod, matters on the agenda will be examined, along with issues concerning the faithful of the Archdiocese of Australia, as well as reports from the Synodal Committees.
The Holy Eparchial Synod will also convene, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Archdiocese, as a Synodal Court for the adjudication of canonical cases.
