The Ambassador of Egypt to Ankara visits the Ecumenical Patriarchate
On the Monday of Pascha, 13 April, the Ambassador of Egypt to Turkey, Dr Wael Badawi, visited the Seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
The Ambassador was warmly received by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, with whom he discussed the programme of the forthcoming April visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of the Head of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, His Beatitude Patriarch Tawadros II.
Also present at the meeting was His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, President of the competent Synodal Committee.
