The annual general assembly of Greece’s association of Orthodox clergymen was held in Athens on Thursday, Feb 13, 2020, with developments regarding the payroll regime and the immediate filling of vacant spots dominating addresses by speakers.

Clerics arrived from every part of Greece, with the main theme being continued vigilance, within the framework of the Association, for their status and future.

In his opening address, the association’s president, Protopresbyter, or Archpriest Fr. Georgios Sellis, referred to the fluid social developments in the country.
