Metropolitan of Symi receives visiting Hellenic Army general staff chief

The Metropolitan of Symi, an island in the eastern Aegean, His Eminence Chrysostomos, over the weekend received the visiting chief of the Hellenic Army general staff, Lt.-Gen. Charalambos Lalousis.
The Greek military leader arrived on the island to inspect national guard units and to wish servicemen and women a happy Christmas. He also visited the Holy Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis, and prayed before the miraculous wall icon of Panormiti, which depicts the Archangel.
