Patriarch of Bulgaria refers to tradition of the blessing of nation’s battle flags

On the occasion of Wednesday’s Epiphany feast day, the Patriarch of Bulgaria, His Holiness Neofyt, addressed a letter to the country’s defense minister, referring to a tradition in the country whereby the Orthodox Church blesses the battle flags of the Bulgarian armed forces during a celebratory service.
