A databank of questions and answers for third country and non-Greek candidates taking a test to receive Greek citizenship will include, among others, questions regarding Mount Athos, major celebrations of Orthodox Christianity, the nation’s customs and traditions, ancient Greek history, the ancient Macedonians, the Asia Minor disaster, Pontian Hellenism and even the siege of Constantinople.

In general, the citizenship exam aims to confirm a candidate’s knowledge of the Greek language, the country’s geography and well as Hellenic civilization.
