Gold Coast Greek School starts new academic year with blessing
Fr Romanos Stergiou conducted his annual Ayasmos blessing for the scholars, teachers and administrative staff of the Greek Ethnic School of St Anna on the Gold Coast February 24.
After the blessing Fr Romanos held a religious education class. in person to make up for the past year when religious education classes were livestreamed on Facebook because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school principal is Vicky Giannopoulou who also teaches at the school with Effie Bachlinzanakis, Katerina Kalogeropoulos and Yiannis Zervis.
Classes are held every Wednesday between 4.30pm and 7pm. A designated teacher who also holds Greek classes for adults.
