Emphasis on Church-affiliated social programs in Romania

Developing and expanding social services was at the forefront of the annual general assembly of the Patriarchate of Romania’s Charity Federation, which was held earlier this week at the Caraiman Monastery’s Holy Cross social pastoral center.

The purpose of the Charity Federation is to increase the impact and effectiveness of social activities, as well as initiatives of cooperating organizations and structures of the Orthodox Church in Romania.
