Bishop of Budimlja–Nikšić visits historic Beška Monastery

The Bishop of Budimlja–Nikšić, His Grace Ioannicus, the Patriarchate of Serbia’s locum tenens, or administrator, for the Holy Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral, on Wednesday arrived at the Beška Monastery, on the occasion of the feast of the Annunciation, as based on the Julian calendar, which is followed by the Serbian Church for its ecclesiastical calendar.

His Grace, in addressing the assembled faithful, said the Archangel’s message to the Theotokos, the Virgin Mary, was received with great joy.

He also reminded that the Holy Monastery was restored under the direction of reposed in the Lord Metropolitan of Montenegro Amphilochios.
