High schools open around Greece with precautions
High school pupils and educators returned to classes around Greece on Monday, after first reporting a negative result from a Covid-19 self-test.
Out of more than 150,000 Covid-19 self-tests conducted by pupils and teachers in the country, 408 were reported as coming back positive, ostensibly an infection rate of 0.27 percent.
Free self-tests were provided, via neighborhood pharmacies, to each high school pupil and teacher – one per week – with a negative result necessary for a pupil or teacher to return to reopened schools on Monday.
