Medieval Serbian Orthodox monuments in Kosovo & Metohija remain on UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in Danger despite Kosovo Albanian opposition

Several medieval religious monuments in Kosovo and Metohija remain on a UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in Danger, following a decision by delegates at the 44th session of the World Heritage Committee.
Kosovo Albanian officials over the recent period had demanded and pressured that UNESCO exclude the four most significant Serbian Orthodox Monasteries from the list.
