Groups refers to ‘cover-up’ of Amphipolis findings

A civic group in northern Greece devoted to promoting the archaeological excavations and research at the ancient Amphipolis site, in Serres prefecture of the central Macedonia administrative region, has filed a lawsuit charging the “deliberate and systematic cover-up” of findings and artifacts discovered at the site. The group accuses the relevant culture ministry and the current team of researchers assigned to the site as behind the cover-up.
