Patriarch of Alexandria Theodoros officiates at enthronement of new Metropolitan of Pelusium Narcissus

The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, on Thursday officiated at the enthronement of the new Metropolitan of Pelusium, His Eminence Narcissus, which took place at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior, in Port Said.

His Most Divine Beatitude referred to the new Metropolitan’s pastoral journey so far, from Jordan to Greece and Egypt.

The Patriarchate of Serbia this week commemorated and celebrated the memory of its patron saint and seminal spiritual illuminator, St. Sava, with con-celebratory Church services taking place at a cathedral dedicated to the saint in the Vračar district.

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, officiated at the services, accompanied by several bishops and clerics of the Serbian Church.

The world’s number one ranked tennis player, Novak Djokovic, was also in attendance, amongst the flock, for a Divine Liturgy at the cathedral.
