Exhibition ‘The Church’s Contribution to the Struggle of 1821’ opens in Athens

An exhibition in Athens, entitled “The Church’s Contribution to the Struggle of 1821”, focusing on the Greek war of impendence, was inaugurated at the Byzantine & Christian Museum on Tuesday, in the presence of the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, and Greek President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
The exhibition is organized by the Church of Greece’s Academy of Ecclesiastical Arts, in cooperation with the museum.

Archbishop Ieronymos officiated at a blessing ceremony and thanked Sakellaropoulou for her presence.
