Metropolitan of Montenegro Joanikije officiates at Divine Liturgy at Monastery of Micholska Prevlaka, on feast day of St. Tryphon

The Metropolitan of Montenegro and All the Littoral, His Eminence Joanikije, this week officiated at a Divine Liturgy at the Holy Monastery of Mi-CHOL-ska PREV-laka, near Podgorica, commemorating the memory of St. Tryphon, as based on the Julian calendar.
His Eminence also blessed the monastery’s vineyard, as St. Thyphon is the patron saint of gardeners and wine growers.

The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral is blessed by preserving the Holy Relics of the saint at the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, in coastal city of Kotor.
