Archbishop of Australia Makarios receives Greek ambassador at Archdiocese

The Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, on Saturday welcomed Greece’s ambassador to the island continent, Georgios Papakostas, to offices of the Holy Archdiocese in Sydney.
The Archbishop himself accompanied the top diplomat on a tour of the Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos and briefed him over the progress of restoration works at the historic and heritage-listed cathedral, after the extensive damage it suffered from a devastating fire.

Amb. Papakostas also viewed the architectural plans of new facilities of the Holy Archdiocese and a new theological college.
