Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology: Activities during Lenten Season

On the occasion of Lenten season, the seminarians at the Saint John of Damascus at the University of Balamand carried out a series of pastoral visits to several parishes in the Archdiocese of Tripoli, Al-Koura, and their dependencies (Chekka, Fih and Amiyoun); and the Archdiocese of Byblos, Batroun and Dependencies (Btaboura, Hamat and Kfarhelda). In their visits, the seminarians joined the parishioners in the service of Great Compline and participated in agape meals. In addition, many spiritual speeches were delivered by Arch. Maxim Jamal, Director of students’ life, who accompanied the seminarians with their visits.
