Archbishop Elpidophoros Meets with Bishop Robert Stearns
oday, March 14, 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros met with Bishop Robert Stearns who oversees of the historic Tabernacle Church in Buffalo, New York. BIshop Stearns is also the founder and executive director of Eagles’ Wings which works to facillitate the rapprochement between Christians and Judaism.
Archibishop Elpidophoros and Bishop Stearns discussed the role of the Church in the Middle East and especially in the Holy Land. They also recognized the importance of closer ecumenical relations between Orthodox and Evangelicals.
