Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew receives Poland’s consul general in Constantinople

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Thursday received Poland’s consul general, Witold Lesniak, in the Bosporus metropolis. The meeting took place at the Mother Church’s Phanar district see.
The diplomat was accompanied by his wife and two daughters. A lengthy discussion followed, with a particular focus on the situation of tens of thousands of refugees from war-torn Ukraine who fled to Poland.
