His Holiness kyr Porfirije, the Serbian Patriarch served the Easter Liturgy at midnight in the Cathedral church of Saint Sava in Vračar, Belgrade (photo gallery).
The Patriarch was concelebrated by His Grace Bishop Stefan of Remesiana, Archimandrite Nektarije, protosynchelloi Danilo and Nektarije, protopresbyter-staurophors Vladimir Vukašinović and Stojadin Pavlović, archpriests Zoran Ranković, Dragan Šovljanski, Predrag Prodić and Đorđe Stojisavljević, synchellos Stojisavljević, synchellos Andronik Dunaev from the Russian Orthodox Church, presbyters Zoran Devrnja and Branislav Kedžić, protodeacons Mladen Kovačević, Dragan Radić and Radomir Vrućinić and deacon Đorđe Petrović.
The Paschal Encyclical of the Serbian Orthodox Church was read by protodeacon Mladen Kovačević. In the fullfilled Saint Sava Cathedral the Holy Liturgy was attended by President of the National Assembly Mr. Ivica Dačić, Director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities Dr. Vladimir Roganović, Arcbishop of Belgrade Monsignor Stanislav Hočevar, Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Luciano Suriani, Director of the Post of Serbia Mr. Zoran Đorđević.
