Georgian PM visits historic Bucharest monastery
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Mamuka Baktadze visited the historic St. Anthimos Monastery in Bucharest this week.
A delegation led by Bakhtadze was received by the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Ploesti, His Grace Varlaam, who provided a guided tour of the monastery and its museum.
The Romanian bishop referred to the excellent relations between the two peoples and noted that St. Anthimos is a bridge between Romania and Georgia.
